    Not a denim jacket!

    I ordered this expecting a classic denim jacket, as the title clearly states ‘Denim Men’s Blue Denim Jacket’. Imagine my surprise when it arrived and it’s 100% polyamide. It’s a decent jacket for sure, lightweight and good for layering, but it’s not what I thought I was buying. The product description is very misleading.

    Unexpectedly good material

    I was a bit confused by the ‘denim’ in the title and ‘polyamide’ in the description. Turns out it’s polyamide, which is actually great! It’s much lighter and more water-resistant than denim, perfect for fall. The blue color is sharp and it feels well-made.

    This jacket fits perfectly, true to size for me (I got a Large). The blue is a vibrant, classic Tommy Hilfiger shade. Looks great with jeans or chinos. Very happy with it for the upcoming season.

    What even is this collar?

    The product description is all over the place. It says ‘classic collar,’ then ‘turtleneck,’ then ‘hood.’ Mine arrived with what looks like a stand-up collar, but it’s definitely not a hood or a turtleneck. It’s a nice enough jacket, but the description is completely inaccurate and confusing. Feels like I got something different than what was advertised.

    This polyamide jacket is surprisingly warm for its weight. It’s excellent for layering over a hoodie or under a heavier coat when the weather really drops. Definitely a solid choice for the colder months without being too bulky.

    Okay, I get that ‘Tommy Hilfiger Denim’ is the sub-brand, but calling this a ‘Denim Men’s Blue Denim Jacket’ when it’s 100% polyamide is just misleading. It’s a nice jacket, feels good, but adjust your expectations about the material.

    The button-down fastening feels sturdy, and the overall construction is what I expect from Tommy Hilfiger. The blue is a perfect shade, and the branding is subtle but noticeable.

    This jacket is surprisingly versatile. The polyamide makes it lightweight and somewhat wind-resistant, perfect for walks or light hikes in cooler weather. Much better than actual denim for that purpose!
