   Sizing a little tricky

   I usually wear a 32 waist, but these felt a bit tighter than other brands I own. After the first wash (followed instructions at 30°), they seemed to shrink just a tiny bit more, which made them almost too small. They’ve stretched out a bit since, but I’d recommend sizing up if you’re on the fence. The quality is otherwise decent for the price.

   These jeans are incredibly versatile. I can wear them with a t-shirt for a casual look or dress them up a bit with a button-down. The slim fit is modern and flattering.    Color faded, pockets could be better.

   I liked these when I first got them, but after about 10 washes, the blue has faded quite a bit more than I would have liked, even with cold water. Also, the front pockets feel a little shallow; my phone barely fits securely. They’re still wearable, but not my favorite pair.

    Good alternative to 501s.
