My new go-to black trousers!
These Guess trousers are absolutely fantastic. The fit is incredibly flattering, hugging in all the right places without being restrictive. I love the cotton blend; it’s soft against the skin and has just enough stretch (thanks, spandex!) to make them comfortable for all-day wear, whether I’m at the office or out for a casual dinner. The black is a true, deep black, which is exactly what I was hoping for. They wash well too, no fading so far after a couple of cycles. Definitely recommend!

Good quality, but size up!
I generally love Guess, and these trousers don’t disappoint on quality. The fabric feels substantial, and the 5-pocket design is classic. My only gripe is the sizing – I usually wear a size 6, but these felt a little snug. I’d suggest going up one size if you prefer a slightly more relaxed fit. Otherwise, they’re super comfortable and the black color is very rich.

Decent, but watch washing instructions.
The trousers initially felt nice and the fit was good. However, after the first wash (following the 30° machine wash instruction), they seemed to lose a tiny bit of their crispness, and I noticed a slight fading. Also, the product detail says ‘Pattern: coloured’ but they’re just plain black, which was a bit confusing. They’re okay for the price, but I expected a bit more from Guess in terms of lasting color.

Solid construction, practical pockets.
I appreciate the quality of these trousers. The zip and button fastening feel secure, and the front and back pockets are actually functional, which isn’t always the case with women’s pants! The material blend is nice, feels durable. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they were a tiny bit longer than I expected, but easily fixable.

Okay, but a bit thin for my taste.
I bought these for spring, but I found the fabric a little thinner than I anticipated for a pair of black trousers, even for Spring/Summer. While they feel comfortable initially, I noticed they tend to bag out a bit around the knees and seat after a few hours of wear, which is a bit disappointing. The black color is good, though, and they do look decent fresh out of the wash. Just wish they held their shape better.

A bit stiff at first, but softens up.
When I first tried them on, they felt a little stiff, but after a wash and a day of wear, they’ve softened up considerably. The fit is flattering, and the black is a true classic. Good staple piece for my wardrobe.
