   Good, but Pockets Could Be Deeper

   Overall, these are solid shorts. They dry super fast, which is great for beach days or after a sudden downpour. The fit is true to size for me. My only minor gripe is that the side pockets aren’t very deep; my phone feels a bit precarious at times. Still, a good purchase for the summer.

   Comfortable but Material Feels Thin

   The comfort level is definitely there with the elastic waistband. They feel great on. However, the polyester feels a bit thinner than I expected from The North Face. I’m hoping they hold up well to repeated wear and washes. Time will tell on durability.
