I’m genuinely impressed with this Lyle & Scott jumper. The blend of 70% cotton and 30% merino wool is just perfect – it’s incredibly soft against the skin, not at all itchy like some wool blends can be. It provides excellent warmth without feeling bulky, making it ideal for the unpredictable fall weather or layering up in winter. The grey color is a classic and goes with everything. Good quality, slightly snug fit
The material on this jumper feels really premium, and the grey color is accurate to the pictures. My only minor gripe is the fit; I usually wear a large, and while it fits, it’s a bit more snug than I prefer for a crew neck. Might size up next time, but still a solid piece of knitwear for cooler days.

Soft initially, but needs careful washing
When this jumper first arrived, I absolutely loved how soft it felt. The cotton-merino blend is very comfortable. However, after a few washes (at 30° as instructed), I’ve noticed it’s lost a little of its initial luxurious feel and has started to show some minor pilling. It’s still wearable and looks decent, but I expected it to hold up a bit better for the price.

Nice grey, but a touch lighter than expected

Disappointed with pilling after a few months

However, after about two months of regular wear and following the washing instructions precisely, I’ve noticed significant pilling, especially under the arms and on the chest. It’s a shame as it looked great at first, but now it looks a bit worn out.
