    Tricky Washing, Be Aware

    I really like the look and feel of this gilet, but the “dry clean only” instruction is a bit of a pain for a casual item. I accidentally put it on a gentle cold wash and it came out a bit crinkled and lost some of its initial crispness. My fault, I know, but just a heads-up for others. It’s a nice gilet, but the maintenance requirement makes it less convenient for everyday wear than I’d hoped.

    The gilet is really comfortable to wear, and the stand collar is a nice touch for keeping the chill off my neck. My only minor complaint is that the main zip can sometimes get a bit sticky, especially when zipping it up quickly. It’s not broken or anything, just not as fluid as I’d like.     Sizing a Bit Off, Color Different in Person

    I ordered my usual size, but this felt a little snug across the chest, so I’d recommend sizing up if you plan on wearing thicker layers underneath. Also, the blue appeared slightly darker online than it is in real life. It’s still a nice gilet, but just not quite what I was expecting from the product images.
