    I’ve been searching for a high-quality black V-neck for ages, and this one is perfect. The modal-cashmere blend is divine – soft, with a lovely drape, and doesn’t feel scratchy at all. I was a bit nervous about machine washing cashmere, but it came out beautifully on a delicate cycle at 30 degrees. No shrinking or pilling so far. It’s an investment, but I can tell it will last.

    It’s a comfortable sweater and fits well, but the black isn’t as rich or deep as I expected. More of a very dark charcoal in certain lights.

    The material is lovely and feels high-end. I’ve worn it a few times and washed it once, and I’ve noticed very slight pilling under the arms, which is a bit disappointing for the price, but easily managed with a fabric shaver. Overall, still a great piece.

    The elastane in the blend gives it a nice amount of stretch, which makes it very comfortable to move in. The V-neck is flattering and doesn’t gape. I sized up for a slightly looser fit, and it worked out perfectly.
