    Like most Docs, there was a slight break-in period around the buckle areas, but nothing too bad. After a couple of wears, the leather softened up beautifully. I’d recommend treating the leather with a protector to keep them looking fresh, especially since they’re a lighter color. They’re incredibly sturdy and feel like they’ll last forever.
